University of Nebraska, Lincoln Course Description
UNL offers a two semester algebra-based introductory physics course sequence, PHYS 141-142, as a service for non-physics/non-engineering science majors including many biology and pre-health major students. The courses are taught in a lecture/lab format with a large lecture three times a week, a weekly recitation session, and a weekly three hour lab session.
One innovative aspect of the course is a module addressing the question "How Do We See Color?". A description of this module and links to supporting resources is givien here:
